Jim was a radio salesman, sales manager and on-air personality for many years in his hometown area. His last radio project was to sell, manage and host an on-air shopping program for several years. The goods and services that he offered on air were traded with area merchants.

Tony and his partner were both working for another barter exchange in the Indianapolis area. They saw the potential of barter but the owner of their exchange just didn't understand the business and it was always a struggle.

"Dave and I knew that barter was a great opportunity for us. We had been selling the program for a little over a year, but the trade exchange we worked in just didn't seem to be growing. We couldn't make the clients happy and even worse, we couldn't figure out how to make any money for ourselves. Dave and I knew from meeting other exchange owners at a NATE convention that there was a way to do it right.
